Classically trained, Cara started working with seminal Birmingham bands Basil Gabbidon (founder member of Steel Pulse) and
The Au Pairs, and then went on to record and tour with E.B.T.G, The Lilac Time, Billy Bragg, Michael Stipe and finally Blur during their 'Park Life' era.
She composes jazz/classical hybrid pieces for the piano.
